Water filtration system maintenance should follow your filter’s manufacturer schedule and your home’s water quality, with cartridges changed periodically and the system checked at least once a year. The most common driver for maintenance is trapped sediment reducing flow and, if left unchanged, a dirty filter can allow bacteria and other toxins to build up. We service filtration systems across the Atlanta area and can test your water on-site to tailor the maintenance plan to your home. For ongoing reminders and an annual check, our Diamond Club includes a yearly 200+ point plumbing inspection and we’ll inspect your filter during that visit.

Change or service your filter when any of the following occur:

• The manufacturer’s time or capacity limit is reached.
• Water flow drops or the filtered tap sputters.
• Taste, odor, or discoloration returns.
• A built-in monitor or color indicator signals replacement.

If a filter is overdue or visibly dirty, replace it before continued use.
